There is no color on the Kindle and even though it's only at the bottom--in the shopping section, I want it. Its hard to see on the Kindle what Amazon recommends for me based on past purchases! I definitely read more because I always have a variety of books at my fingertips. I still by real books too, but mostly of the design and decor variety!Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00476853284709049197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607047656114057976.post-41201136868630407282010-10-11T14:08:51.622-07:002010-10-11T14:08:51.622-07:00I need to read more books..period. I'm wondering if an E-reader would help.Try Anything Once Terrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05462591982064642745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607047656114057976.post-44588471428566837712010-10-11T13:58:05.639-07:002010-10-11T13:58:05.639-07:00I have the Kindle app for my iPhone and LOVE IT! But I love having a book at my fingertips any time I have a few extra minutes. Plus Amazon offers free books, so I stock up on the ones that look interesting and always have something new to read. While some of them are total bombs, some have introduced me to new authors I absolutely love.JenGnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607047656114057976.post-21575098988488598182010-10-11T11:55:28.447-07:002010-10-11T11:55:28.447-07:00I haven't bought an e-reader at all which is f...I haven't bought an e-reader at all which is funny since a friend of mine has been working on the Kindle for a few years. We don't usually buy books. We have a great library system here plus. I would want to share books with people. I feel like an e-reader would be great for all the traveling and the public transit commuting but I'm just not entirely convinced yet. It's the buying books part. I'd pay a few books for an e-book but I have a hard time paying $10 for a book I can't lend or donate when I'm done with it.Micah and Catherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02139861154575322951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607047656114057976.post-5525255796529088962010-10-11T11:47:31.359-07:002010-10-11T11:47:31.359-07:00Sounds like such a neat concept! I don't know too much about all the e-readers out there these days, but the Nook looks like a winner!BigAppleNoshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11468005426755659330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607047656114057976.post-80316188928391654222010-10-11T11:12:21.535-07:002010-10-11T11:12:21.535-07:00I went with the Kindle because I have a luddite-es...I went with the Kindle because I have a luddite-esque aversion to touchscreens and I knew there wouldn't be anyone else I could loan books with, but the free e-books at the library almost sold me. I love my Kindle, but I have to watch out how many books I buy. It makes book-shopping too much fun! The instant gratification is so awesome. Also, I love to be able to download free samples of books - then I can even go get them at the library if I don't want to pay for them. *guilty* Does the Nook have that feature? I can't remember. Anyway, I love e-reading!Victoriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08997765277530350045noreply@blogger.com
