Remember how I felt lazy and that I spend too much time on the couch in front of the TV. Well, this weekend, I got a hell of a lot of time in bed, on the couch and in the dreaded bathroom.
Uggg. It's too horrible to put into words- but my cute as a button nephew passed a terrible bug to everyone in my entire family this weekend. Except, of course, Mr. Spice with his "iron will" stomach.
In the mists of recovering, I started a new habit- Mad Med. We finally watched the first three episodes of Mad Man and I am now counting down the hours until Netflix sends us the next DVDs.
And it comes as no surprise that everyone who is anyone is blogging about the clothes, the design, the scandals.
source.
Seriously. The Banana Republic by my work has huge posters of Mad Men in the window. Casting call anyone for a walk on roll??
Even freakin Barbie has gotten on the Mad Men train:
I know, we are years behind this bandwagon. I hope some day we'll catch up. We've already started taping* the newest season for when we do.
I hope everyone else had a fantastic weekend- I am still recovering. So sad I missed visiting my niece while she was in town and the Renegade Craft Fair. Anyone else living in a mad mad world?
*Can I still say taping? Or do I need to say DVRing- is that even a word? What eve.

I'm still way behind on the Mad Men train, but I've got the discs in my Netflix queue. The only problem is my husband is already all caught up and has no interest in sitting through it again, so I'm on my own to find time to watch it.
I just jumped on the Mad Men train with this newest season - I mostly watch it for all the clothes :)
LLLLOOOOOOVVVEEE Mad Men. I started by myself, and it took the husband about a season to watch it with me. We watched all of Season 2 together on DVD. He was hooked. I agree with Big Apple Nosh. I LOVE the design on the show especially the costumes. Even the secretaries look fabulous and put together! This season you can see that things are changing even in the design sense. Check Roger's office. Definitely catch up with the show. :)
I hope you're feeling better! I got on the Mad Men bandwagon on Season 2 - Love love love Mad Men. It's J's favorite show, he's been campaigning for months to have giraffe prints like the ones in Pete Campbell's entry. I finally gave in, but he has to make them, so it's taking awhile ;-)
& here I am thinking I'm the only one who doesn't watch the show! Mr. Quiche and I are seriously considering making it our next show to start watching..let us know what you think!
