We seriously thought that we were going to get a fat tax return this year. And in hopes of that tax return, we had already figured out how we were going to spend the money:
A Sofa. Preferably a sectional:
This Gus Sectional is totally out of budget, pre and post bad news.
We also recently fell in love with this little number from Room Service:
It was featured on Emily Henderson's Secret's of a Stylist and both Mr. Spice and I had a moment when it came on screen. Couch awesomeness:
At only $1995, it was within our 'budget'. And with those wood sides, the Cats Claws would be staying far far away.
Well, the dreams of a couch or sectional are now in the past, and my Credit Card is safely locked away at home. All that said, here's another shout out to Emily's blog, if you want to really know the awesomeness of being a stylist, follow her.
Anyone else have a problem of spending money before you have it?

I love that sofa too. A lot. And I feel you on the tax return. We owe this year, ugh.
I'm totally bummed for you. I love that couch. We are totally guilty of spending money in our heads before actually having.
You sure have good taste. That couch looks so comfortable and inviting, it must be wonderful to read on or watch tv from. Best regards from Sicily!
Wow, that first couch is gorgeous! I love sectionals and I'm dying to get one as soon as we have the room for it!
Oooh, loove that sofa! So pretty!
