So I feel like this week is the start of the 'real' pregnant feelings. Not that my symptoms weren't real before- they were bad. But now, I am up peeing 2 times a night (not just one); sleeping is starting to become an issue- I MUST have my body pillow to be comfortable; I can't just run and do something- I am slower; and my feet are just starting to swell.
I am pretty sure that she had a big old growth spurt this week too. I am extra hungry and I can feel my stomach getting bigger. Best part- she's moving a ton and I swear she had the hiccups earlier this week- which was pretty much the coolest feeling ever!!
Also, at 24 weeks- I think she is now a viable baby!! Not to say that there wouldn't be mad complications if she came right now- BABY- stay in my BELLY!! Do You Hear Your Mom!?? Stay Put! But she's working really hard to get bigger and stronger and becoming her own person!
24 week is also one of those weeks were one could say that I am 6 months pregnant (4 weeks/month), but the reality, I still have 16 weeks or 4 months to go!! Whoa. This second trimester feels like forever!!
In impossible news, there is a good chance that we've picked out a name!! Seriously, I can't believe it. We'll see if this one sticks- so far we haven't shared it with anyone (and not sure if we will). It has been a week, and we still love it- so that's a positive sign.
Here's my Week 24 Belly picture:
And in keeping it real: yes, I do make sure my make-up looks good(ish) in my pics, and I do make Mr. Spice take at least 10 photos (more like 20 or 30) before I pick out a winner. (And yes, more often than not, it is a true test of our marriage to get one I like).
Here are a few of the out takes from our belly picture session.
Me pooping out the cat:
Think he looks ready to be a Dad??
Oh, I am also still not getting a seat on the bus. I feel like I am apart of a social experiment and I am the guinea pig.

You look great! I hope I look as cute as you when I'm pregnant :)
I think it's great that you are showing some of the outtake shots. The one snapshot does not give the full image of what has to happen to get that one picture!
I loe the shots. The seat on the bus thing makes me angry. I used to catch the bus near a high school and would watch as elderly would get on and have to stand. I'd give up my seat and hope the kids around me would do the same but that never happened. I wish the bus driver would say something.
Ahhhhh! That bump is just perfection! You look great!
Looking beautiful, mama! And kudos to Mr. S for taking great photos. :)
You look SO ADORABLE!!! The outtake of you "pooping the cat" literally made me laugh out loud.
Your bump is perfect and I can't believe people won't get out of their seats for you! And btw the hubs looks adorable with the kitty =)
You look so cute! Also that is one BIG old cat! Haha
You are just so cute!
