There are so many great blogs out there, and it's the last day of the Month, so I am cleaning out my favorite blog posts on my reader. Here are the posts that grabbed my attention this month:
Who doesn't love old hardbacks? And who wouldn't want them on display in their house?
What if they had more of a function then just being an old book? I saw these on That Wonderous Time and about died. Awesome, amazing, why didn't I think of this??
Hi Lovelies, I left you hanging on Friday with a fuzzy picture of Mr. Huckleberry and my latest project. I am happy to report that my January Craft Project was/is a Success!!
Over six years ago, I made my first baby blanket for my Niece-to-be. Well, this last week I finished my third blanket. As I've mentioned before, in a few short weeks, I'll be an Aunt Five times over!! And for my third Niece, it was all about the light lavender (Please excuse the wrinkles- airport security scrunched it back into the bag after their inspection):
A huge shout out to BijouLovely for inspiring the super duper cute strip on the back. Overall, my SIL couldn't believe how well it matches the room, and can't wait for Baby M to have some tummy time. Personally, I just can't wait meet her. Being an Aunt is the best.
Are you lucky enough to have little rug rats in your life?
Hello Lovelies, we are making our way back to LA LA Land this afternoon to shower my SIL and Niece-to-be with loads of love.
I wish I had more pictures for you right now, but my camera battery died. Here's a sneak peak at my shower gift in progress taken from my phone....
No animals were hurt in the making of this baby blanket.
I have to admit- I am super nervous about giving this gift. While it's flaws show my love, I hope that it fits their 'light lavender' aesthetic and that they love it.
Anyone else get butterflys when giving a home made gift??
Have a fantastic weekend. It will be 70-ish and sunny all weekend- guess I don't need my winter coat.
Earlier this week Apartment Therapy featured a whole post on antique dressers. This one stuck out to me:
Could be due to the white, linens and neutrals that all work perfectly together.
Lucky for me, I have my Grandmother's dresser, that despite my earlier feelings that it's ugly- it is now my most prized piece of furniture (which could stem from the fact that it's my only 'real' piece of furniture and not from Ikea). I hope in my next house I can display my Antique Dresser front and center.
What do you think of a dresser in a living room??
