Before I dive in, thank you to everyone who commented on yesterday's post. I'll be sure to keep you updated on my struggle to keep the passion in my life and my search for a new passion.
But onwards to tonight's pressing task- the dreaded- LAUNDRY. Uggg. In our old place we had our own laundry, and my gosh, I didn't realize how so very lucky I was.*
Now we have to trek down to the basement- and down some oh so small stairs- to get to our shared laundry room. It's a gamble if there will even be a washer or dryer available and whatever you do- don't leave your clothes in the washer for an extra minute. You'll find your stuff spread over the counter area. Ugg, so frustrating.
Sarah's House Season 2 started my obsession with laundry. I would do it every day if I could have a marble countertop. source.
And what'd I'd give to have one of these laundry rooms:
They just look so clean and perfect. Swoon.
I am especially jealous of Centsational Girl's new and pretty fantabulous laundry room:
Hey Folks, we just returned from a fantastically awesome quick trip to LA to hang out with a few of our favorite people. Pictures may follow- I let Mama Sugar take the lead.
As summer kicks off its socks this weekend, it's no surprise that it's a bit gray and gloomy in San Francisco. Yep, while the rest of the world warms up, we get hit with some May Gray and June Gloom, aka Fog.
What's not typical for this time of year is the wet weather. It makes me want to snuggle up to a warm gray fire place. Just like these: source.
Off to LA LA Land this weekend to go out LA-style with two of my favorite people (wish me luck), and to celebrate Papa Sugar's birthday with the Fam. Go Dodgers!! So excited I can't wait.
And thanks to the Lovely Readers who chimed in for the give away and for the great support for How Joyful. The lucky winner is:
Dani and Nelson: who would love the green fudge brooch, or maybe a pink sash to complete my flower girls dresses.

That means we are one day closer to the weekend. Don't forget to comment on my giveaway post!
But really, back to the color on my brain. Recently a friend stated that she hated all things orange? I *might* have said something similar once, but for some reason these orange rooms have me swooning. source.

Whenever I see an image that I like for whatever reason, I try to star it in my reader. And this week, as I looked through my starred images I started to see a bit of a trend.
They all have white walls, light floors and a splash of green and a small bit of light blue. It's all so subtle and kinda perfect. After looking at them, I like that the white makes the spaces look a bit crisp, and the colors add a touch of comfort. And I am all about comfort. What do you think? I am no designer- do you think I am just making this all up?
Hope you all have a comfortable weekend. I have a huge project that I hope to tackle this weekend- wish me luck.
