Where have I been? Well, I have no excuse. Enjoying the San Francisco sunshine, yes. Getting some good sleep on our new mattress, yes. Watching some good old HGTV, but of course.
And last night I enjoyed a little Color Splash: Miami. I have to say that this show holds a special place in my heart because it use to be filmed in the Bay Area and I LOVED trying to figure out where they were located. As the first episode started and they were at the Versace Mansion, I thought, oh- freakin- no. This is going to be MIAMI and all the bling that comes with it.
BUT as always, David pulled through- I mean he didn't win Design Star for nothing.
This room is beyond over the top, but if you subtract the Versace Scarf Pillows (you think they've up'd the budget this season? ha), it looks pretty good:
A little bit of vintage with a bit of contemporary. I swear those rugs are at West Elm.
In fact, here's a preview of the season to come. I love the crisp cool white with the pops of colors, but I think we already knew that, right?
So did you watch, what did you think? And what's your favorite HGTV Show. Mine is still Sarah's House with Dear Genevieve a close second.
