Week 19 and 20: Half Way!!

Whoot Whoot!! I have officially passed the half way mark of cooking this little Baby Jaws.

And guess what??

I am kinda sort of feeling more like myself. I had pretty much figured that this little Jaws was going to continue to suck the life out of me until December, and my lack of energy was a new state of normal. But I've actually started to feel sort of like myself again. I won't say that I got a second trimester 'burst of energy.' That, my friends, is a a myth. But I am feeling better.

And the wonders of pregnancy just keep coming. I now have a matching set of stretch marks on my hips!! Whoot whoot. That was a fun discovery. And if I sit too long, I now have pretty bad tailbone pain. Another fun one!!

In all honesty, pregnancy side effects suck. BUT as far as we know, she is healthy and happy and doing her thing- GROWING!!

Things to love about pregnancy: prenatal yoga (love), body pillows (how did I sleep without one), summer fruit bananza (I might as well call this little one Baby Strawberry), and unlimited access to the latest frozen yogurt trend in SF!!

Oh, one more pregnancy side effect, remember last week when I said Huck is now realizing that I am pregnant?? Well, he now insists on sleeping right next to me all night. As in, I move, and he moves closer. Cute, but it might soon become annoying. Crossing my fingers that this is a sign of his protective dog instincts kicking in, and that him and Baby Strawberry will be best friends forever!

In non-pregnancy baby news-- we are now set with clothes from newborn to 6 months! Thanks to our baby Niece.

And because my Niece is way cuter than me, here we are having a grand time. I honestly have to say, that I think she knows that I have her future best friend in my belly:

And finally, I had a bit of fun at the Farmer's Market today. Baby is a coolio Cantaloupe!!

Up next in the pregnancy files, the baby 'nursery' has already started!! And hopefully I'll share my inspiration for turning our bedroom into a bedroom/nursery!
