Sorry it has been so long, but I can't find the cord to download photos from my camera to our lap top. SO LAME!! We still have most of our stuff in boxes. But good news- our renovation starts Monday!! Whoot Whoot. I think I've outlined what we are doing- but I'll do a follow up post later.
Today, we are talking Master Bedroom inspiration.
When we moved in, this room was so freakin dark. The ceiling fan does NOT have a light in it- soooo I felt like I could never really see the room.
Pre-buying (hello darkness):
Post-buying, pre-move:
While the ceiling fan still doesn't have a light, painting the walls Behr Polar White, REALLY helped brighten the space. I promise pictures soon.
The wall color reminds me of the SF Fog!! Growing up on the coast of California, have I mentioned how much I love fog? Well, I do. And now that we live in-land, and it is super hot- hello 100 degrees- I love being reminded of the cool fog.
Ok, back on track- years ago, we had this photo from our engagement session with Blueberry Photography put on canvas:
This photo is freakin rad!! And it just so happens to be the inspiration for our Master Bedroom.
The sand is the same color of our furniture (as seen in our previous bedroom):
And the white in the sky is the color of our new walls. Plus, as you can see above, we already have blue and green accents in the room.
One problem. See the super colorful pillow cases above. Well, they no longer work with my coastal fog inspiration. So, I am on the hunt for a replacement Euro Sham.Something with some color.
For a hot second, I liked these awesome DVF shams, but Mr. Spice gave a firm no- too much orange and purple:
I thought I found a replacement for $9.99 at West Elm, but it was a lie, they are SOLD OUT. Extra Lame!!
They would have been perfect, no?
Does any body have any good Euro Sham recommendations?? I may just have to make my own!!! If only I knew where the sewing machine ended up.

The colors in the west elm ones remind me of some bedding I saw recently in Crate & Barrel. I think it was a more circular pattern.
Thanks Cece. You are so right: http://www.crateandbarrel.com/mosaic-bed-linens/f35084 But guess what- they are sold out! Craziness.
Very late question but I love your bedside clock and wondered where you got it if you don't mind sharing. Thanks! If you can my email is rosen44@hotmail.com
