I may or may not have gasped out loud when I saw this designer featured on California Home and Design. Despite the title: Furniture for the Young Male Professional, I think this work is genius.

As Thanksgiving is in a few days, I am obsessing over the look of wooden tables. Alas, I don't have a table big enough to have anyone over for a big Thanksgiving Dinner, but some day.... I will, and here's some inspiration for my future dining table:

On hold.

Putting Review Week on hold. I've caught an obnoxious head cold- again!! We leave for Austin, Texas first thing in the morning for a wedding, so I am trying my very best to get in shape for the flight and the festivities.

In the mean time, I can not get this coffee table out of my head. Isn't it all sorts of fantasticness??

Subtle Changes in the Living Room

Months ago, I talked about some projects that I was working on. It turns out that it took me awhile to (a) complete them and (b) clean the house up to take pictures of them during the day time.

So without further ado- here are two small changes to the living room.

I finally made it to the mecca that is Ikea and purchased another set of curtains to make the nook area a bit more.... Polished?

I also finally took the plunge and painted our coffee table, but more on that and another project next week.

What do you think?? I'd still love to put an ottoman in front of the two 'nook' chairs, but I haven't found that perfect piece to redo.
