Do you Rue?

I am interrupting Review Week for a quick shout out to Rue. I feel like you would have to be living under a rock to not know about this fabulous new on-line magazine.

A few reasons I heart Rue.

1. They featured all the fabulous (albeit overpriced) shops in my Hood. Check out pages 33-38.

I have been following Caitlin over at Sacramento Street ever since I found her blog and realized that we are neighbors, which has lead me to follow the other fabulous ladies at Plush Palate and Live Creating Yourself.

3. The Rue Crew threw a fabulous Rue Kickoff Party at the Kate Spade store in Marin on Sunday. So of course, I gussied myself up and dragged Mr. Spice to Marin on Sunday for their super fabulous party:



I was so excited for the party that as soon as I got there I became super shy and felt like a crazy blog stalker lady. I realized it was my first 'I follow your blog and think you are super cool' event. Yes, I've been to Weddingbee events, but this was my first as a reader not as a blogger. This thought lead me to start sweating, taking pictures of random goodies throughout the shop, and a quick 'lets get outta here before I throw up.'

I will say that I at least got to meet the gorgeous Caitlin and Alaina. Both were insanely nice.

So here's to Rue- I think you'll hear more about them as they are setting up headquarters in San Francisco, and my first completely embarrassing moment as a blogger.
