Review Week: Soda Stream

This one is totally a tie with the Nook.

For Christmukkah last year, Mr. Spice took me by surprise and got me a Soda Stream.


This invention turns water into bubble water, and with a squeeze of lime or lemon- it's fantastic. You can also purchase 'soda' to turn your bubble water directly into Coke, Sprite, whateve. Our favorites are Dr. Pepper and Grapefruit.

For an environmentally conscience, soda water loving girl, this is an Amazing present. Before the soda stream, I'd buy those huge plastic bottles of lime flavored soda water from Trader Joes. So. Much. Wasted. Plastic.

Now, I am free to drink as much soda water as I want. In fact, at one point I was drinking one a night.

The soda stream is also a huge draw at parties. Everyone always wants to see it in action and have some fresh made bubble water. Either my friends are really boring- or this really is an amazing product. In fact, my Mom loved it so much that she bought one in white for herself.

I'd suggest having three canisters at a time, so far we have gone through about 5 canisters in 11 months, so about 6 a year. And Sodastream will come pick up your old canisters and deliver the new ones.
