Hello Lovelies, a Happy Wednesday to you!! And a happy 400th post to me!! Seriously, I've babbled on this blog for 400 posts- crazy pants.
Back to the morning and our bedroom. Notice anything about this picture??
Well, if you look closely, you'll notice that we only have one alarm clock. Yep for over four years, we've been up-and-at-um at the same time almost every morning (actually, Mr. Spice wakes up and I press snooze for 30 minutes).
Things changed this morning- we officially have a second alarm clock!!!
We finally bit the bullet for two reasons: (1) Mr. Spice is now waking up at the horrible hour of 5:20ish for Harvest and that just doesn't fly with this sleep loving pregnant lady, and (2) our new alarm clock is ipod friendly, which will allow us to play music in the bedroom for the baby and MOST importantly, act as a white noise machine so she can get some extra zzz's.
If you are really interested- we splurged just a bit and here's what we bought.
So I have to ask, are you a one or two alarm clock house??

We actually don't have ANY clocks in our room — we both use our cell phones as alarm clocks! (And since the baby always wakes up before us, I actually can't remember the last time we used the alarm feature on our cell phones either...)
P.S. — I am loving the flower details on your wall!
We only have one alarm clock (conveniently across the room so one of us has to get up to turn it off!). Most of the time we get up at the same time, but when one of us needs to get up earlier than the other, we just use our cell phone alarm.
I've heard white noise does amazing things to keep babies sleeping well!
We're either zero or two--we both use our cell phones in little docks on the night stands. Mine plays a Regina Spektor song to wake me up; his whistles "Brazil." But since we usually wake up together to go for a run in the mornings lately, we only use one of them (mine). But we haven't owned an alarm clock since we got our smart phones.
Also, we don't have any kids, but we use a white noise machine. ;) Not that D snores at all, or anything (except that he does). I sleep so much better with it, it's kind of crazy.
We have 2 (or 3 if you count the alarm on my cell that reminds me to take my temp at 5am every morning). His has white noise for night and a light that gradually comes on to wake him up. Mine has a stackable snooze- I can set it for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60 minutes- so nice on days when I get to sleep in- no alarm every 10 minutes!
