I mentioned last week that we were on Holiday. We spent the week seeing all of Sugar Bear's Grandparents, seeing two sets of Sugar Bear's Aunts and Uncles and 4 cousins, including meeting the newest family member- MAX (who is the BEST baby in the world), and then going on a delayed 40th Birthday trip for Mr. Spice- while Grandma and PopPop Sugar took care of the little lady!!
Here are a few out takes from the week:
Sugar Bear with Nana Spice at the 4th of July Parade
Sister Spice's Adorable and Awesome Family. We are so lucky that the kids are so close in age:
Me and my Sugar Bear. Love her. Look at that look!?!?
Finally enjoying food! No more purees. Chunks of fruit, veggies and rice are the new favorite:
Ready for some pool time:
PS Do you see a three generation family resemblance or what??
And finally, while we enjoyed two days at the BEYOND fantastic Ojai Inn and Spa (via a Sniqueaway!!):
OMG. I so highly recommend this place. It is worth every freaking cent.
Our little Sugar Bear was reading- well- eating books with Grandma and PopPop Sugar:
I won't lie, being away from Sugar Bear for 48 was great for the first 24 hours, but by hour 32, I was missing her something awful. When she saw me, all she wanted to do was be in her Mama's arms - which made my heart melt and all the long nights sooo worth it.
Let me know if anyone is interested in hearing about doing a 6-8 hour drive with a baby.... We now have two trips under our belt.
Thanks for letting me indulge and share our family photos.
