Not to mention that little Sugar Bear caught her first cold. Poor little Baby Bear barely slept Saturday night. It was heartwrentching to have her cry out and not really be able to help (and exhausting!).
When I last left you, we were almost done with construction. Well, construction has been done for a couple weeks. Now we are just working on painting. One very large room down (just don't look at the ceiling) and two more spaces to go.
That said. here's a living room update:
When we first moved in. Dark and beige/yellow:
We're still working on bringing furniture in from the garage. The rug is from the Crate and Barrel Outlet and is wayyyy too small. More on that later. Since we are still working on furniture placement, I have yet to really bring any books and such into the room. But I have to say, it looks better, no??
And the best part of the room- our brand new dining table!! Thank you Nana Spice for the amazing house warming present- a 96" dining table from the Restoration Hardware Outlet:
I have to say- it is starting to feel like a home!! Guess we should get the kitchen and entrance painted before we get too many more visitors.
Have you had house guests in the middle of construction?
