Another bummer- the yard looks pretty sad, and we are having friends over on Friday night for a BBQ- yes, that's tomorrow.
Just a reminder: Here's where we are on our backyard:
For the yard area, I envision a nice plush grass. A swing for Sugar Bear hanging from one of the limbs on the Redwood in the corner.
And maybe a couple colorful Adirondacks chairs from o.co for $122, yes please.
Or this wood one is sweet, especially at $120:
And here's what I wish our dining area looked like:
I'd love the 1964 corrugated roof to be gone, and a wood trestle in it's place.
Sigh, this isn't going to happen by tomorrow.
But maybe I can hose everything off and at least add some candles, placemats and flowers to the table??
Any other quick fixes that I can do in the next 24 hours?

I adore your inspiration, and your yard has so much potential!
And I agree, candles and placemats would go a long way to bring in some fun color, and easy to do before tomorrow. Do you have any cafe lights? Some soft lights along the edge of your overhanging roof would look really sweet. Or maybe a couple of potted ferns placed at the bottom of the posts, for some pops of green until you get your grass in.
Good luck and hope you have a fun BBQ!
Some potted plants and pretty lighting. Even just some you can hang will make a big difference. I am totaly jealous of your outdoor space. I wish we had a place to entertain outside.
I love your inspiration! I agree with the other comments - lighting and some plants can go a long, long way!!
